We are a small family business located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains! This jewelry is made for the wonderful people who love butterflies and have visited butterfly gardens in the past. Working with butterfly reservations across the world from Indonesia, Africa, Costa Rica and more, all our butterflies are purchased properly and legally--therefore supporting the rainforests from which they come.
THese government regulated projects are working diligently to incorporate groups of women and men who live in buffering fringe areas of the rainforest, in non-traditional productive project development. The purpose being to integrate use and conservation of their natural resources. Subsequently, thousands of acres of rainforest are now preserved because of butterflies!
Someone once said if nothing ever changed--there'd be not butterflies. These reservations raise the live chrysalis so they can be enjoyed at the butterfly pavilions you see today. However, much like flying flowers, butterflies have a natural life span of one to three weeks--rather than being thrown away, some are able to be recycled for their second transformation into these distinctive, captivating and luminescent adornments.
Please enjoy wearing this jewelry that enhances your own unique beauty and beliefs. And please continue to support your local butterfly gardens.
